We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Specialist to drive health promotion and disease prevention efforts in Durban. In this role, you will focus on health education, program evaluation, and community engagement strategies. Responsibilities

• Lead health assessments and community health needs evaluations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for program execution.
• Initiate and oversee public health awareness campaigns.
• Evaluate effectiveness of health programs and initiatives.
• Build partnerships with local organisations to enhance service delivery.
• Provide training and resources to community health workers.
• Prepare grant proposals to secure funding for health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field
• Master’s degree in Public Health is preferred

• 3+ years of relevant experience in health promotion
