Responsibilities

• Verify and interpret prescriptions from physicians.
• Counsel patients on medication dosage, potential side effects, and proper storage.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on medication dispensing.
• Participate in community health events to promote pharmacy services.
• Manage pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Medication Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
