Responsibilities

• Oversee the cleaning and sterilization of advanced flexible endoscopes.
• Monitor compliance with infection control guidelines.
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives related to reprocessing.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams regarding equipment usage.
• Manage procurement processes of reprocessing supplies.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and practices.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive equipment inventory list.
• Participate in audits and performance evaluations.
• Support patient safety initiatives in the healthcare setting.

Requirements

Education

• Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing Technician (CFER)
• Higher certification in healthcare or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in endoscope reprocessing or a related healthcare field
