Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective mining operations that meet production goals.
• Oversee the development of operational procedures and practices.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments of existing mining processes.
• Engage in continual improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Document and maintain records of mining operations and compliance.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement to ensure community relations are upheld.
• Contribute to the development of annual reports and project evaluations.
• Drive innovation by researching and implementing new mining technologies.
• Manage budgets and forecast future financial needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mining Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant mining experience

Technical Skills

• Resource Estimation
• Mining Legislation

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Geologist Registration (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
