UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a UX Designer to join our creative team in Stellenbosch. You will work closely with product managers and developers to design intuitive and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead user interface design projects from concept to implementation.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics to improve design effectiveness.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately.
• Rigorously test designs with real users and revise based on feedback.
• Help build a culture of design thinking within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certification
• Google UX Design Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular): Experience in JavaScript frameworks to create dynamic UI experiences.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices: Understanding of designing for inclusivity.
