Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility and the ability to manage various phases of architectural projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure all designs are environmentally sustainable and cost-effective.
• Review and approve design documentation and technical specifications.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on architectural practices.
• Inspect worksites to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote architectural services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in architecture with a portfolio of completed projects

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Sustainability Practices

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Building Designer Certification
• Sustainable Architecture Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with urban planning: Experience in urban design and spatial planning.
