We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic quality assurance team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have experience in testing various software applications and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement test automation frameworks.
• Review and enhance existing test scripts for better coverage.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on testing tools.
• Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
• Foster a culture of quality within the development team.
• Assist in performance testing to identify bottlenecks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify requirements.
• Maintain a positive working environment through effective teamwork.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies to enhance skillsets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Technical Skills

• JIRA
• Regression Testing

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CI/CD Tools: Experience using tools like Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms: Basic knowledge of cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure.
