Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Specialist to oversee and optimise our manufacturing processes in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and implementing best practices while collaborating with various teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of safety protocols within the plant.
• Track KPIs to measure operational performance and identify trends.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and present weekly operational reviews to management.
• Support budget planning through cost analysis and forecasting.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance.
• Act as a liaison between plant operations and corporate strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Certified Process Safety Professional (CPSP)

Languages
