Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Range Manager to oversee and manage rangelands to ensure sustainability and productivity. Your role includes developing grazing plans, monitoring range health, and driving conservation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess rangeland conditions and recommend improvements.
• Implement targeted interventions for ecological restoration.
• Collaborate with landowners to promote sustainable practices.
• Monitor the impact of grazing on vegetation and wildlife.
• Conduct workshops to train landowners on best practices.
• Evaluate legislative compliance relating to land management.
• Assist in developing policy recommendations for sustainable land use.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Promote local biodiversity initiatives.
• Engage with researchers to apply findings in practical settings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Range Science, Environmental Science, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in range management or a related field
