We are seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and driving efficiency in production. This role requires a strong understanding of geological surveys and the ability to manage resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining operations to meet production targets.
• Design strategies for resource optimization.
• Conduct training and workshops for mining staff.
• Review and improve operational procedures for efficiency.
• Evaluate new mining technology and make recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a mining environment
