Job Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing social media initiatives that resonate with audiences. Based in Pretoria, you will collaborate with marketing and design teams to craft compelling content and ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of social media strategies to support overall marketing initiatives.
• Engage directly with audiences through search and social engagement to build a community.
• Measure and report performance of all social media campaigns.
• Strengthen relationships with social media influencers and partners.
• Facilitate collaboration between departments to align social media efforts with overall brand objectives.
• Manage the social media budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct social media audits to assess brand visibility.
• Train and mentor junior staff on social media best practices.
• Coordinate with PR to manage all communication and media relations.
• Propose and oversee the execution of new social media events and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
• Master's degree in Digital Marketing preferred

• 4+ years of proven experience in a similar role
