Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of accounting principles, with proven experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee bookkeeping functions and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Manage and analyze expenditures and revenues.
  • Provide financial guidance to clients and staff.
  • Assist with budget development and management.
  • Support risk assessment and financial forecasting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and finance consultants.
  • Assist in training junior accounting staff.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in laws.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience
  • At least 3-5 years in accounting, with experience in a managerial role preferred
