We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team in Gqeberha. This role involves creating and implementing public health programs, conducting community assessments, and collaborating with local health agencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in community health, be able to analyze health data, and work effectively within diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement health programs to improve community health.
• Collaborate with local schools and businesses to promote health.
• Analyze public health data and prepare actionable insights.
• Engage with community members to gather feedback on health services.
• Assist in the development of health policies at the local level.
• Facilitate community workshops and training sessions.
• Act as a liaison between the community and health authorities.
• Provide ongoing assessment of health program effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Health Sciences
• Master's degree highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in public health initiatives
