Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics tools to generate insights that drive strategic decisions. You will be instrumental in creating dashboards and reports that reflect key performance indicators, enabling stakeholders to make informed choices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
• Create comprehensive dashboards and reports for different departments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insights accordingly.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify business trends and patterns.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all data sources.
• Conduct data validation and cleansing activities to maintain high data quality.
• Train team members and stakeholders on using business intelligence tools effectively.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in business intelligence.
• Assist in the strategic planning process through data analysis and reporting.
• Evaluate existing BI tools and recommend improvements where necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence

• Tableau
• R or Python

Certifications

• AWS Certified Data Analytics
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
