Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics tools to generate insights that drive strategic decisions. You will be instrumental in creating dashboards and reports that reflect key performance indicators, enabling stakeholders to make informed choices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models to facilitate reporting and analysis.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and present findings to management.
• Work with IT to ensure the security and accessibility of data.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and provide insights for business strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.
• Maintain documentation for processes and workflows associated with data analytics.
• Support the business intelligence lifecycle from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Actively participate in meetings to communicate analytics findings and recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence

• Tableau
• R or Python

Certifications

• AWS Certified Data Analytics
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ETL processes: Experience in using ETL tools to manage data flow.
