Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while also advising on policies and procedures necessary to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal compliance standards and have experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a compliance monitoring program.
• Advise the management team on compliance risks.
• Assist in policy formulation and enhance compliance culture.
• Prepare project-related compliance documentation.
• Perform due diligence on potential partners and clients.
• Identify training needs and coordinate compliance training initiatives.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance.
• Conduct analyses of compliance issues to develop solutions.
• Assist with internal and external compliance-related investigations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal compliance or regulatory affairs
