We are seeking a compassionate Patient Representative to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. This role requires excellent communication skills to assist patients with registration, scheduling, and managing inquiries. Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient registrations and update records as necessary.
• Manage appointment scheduling utilizing our healthcare software.
• Field calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and appointments.
• Process payments and manage financial transactions confidently.
• Maintain organized patient records and documentation.
• Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff.
• Protect patient information by following HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in training new staff members when needed.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Medical Reception or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role within healthcare
