We are on the lookout for a skilled Set Up Worker to join our dynamic production team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and organizing materials and equipment for manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach are key to thriving in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble necessary tools and materials for production.
• Calibrate machinery and ensure optimal operation throughout shifts.
• Assist in quality control checks throughout production processes.
• Support team members in identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff for equipment repairs.
• Log production data for analysis and improvements.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team.
• Implement best practices for material handling.
• Train new team members on equipment and setup processes.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical qualification or certification is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience operating specific machinery or equipment is a plus.
