Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Specialist to bring an innovative approach to our health initiatives in Durban. The role involves developing and implementing health programs as well as collaborating with local communities to address public health challenges. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of disease prevention and health promotion strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic plans to improve community health outcomes.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure quality service.
• Facilitate partnerships to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
• Conduct training for health professionals on current public health issues.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs.
• Engage in policy advocacy to support health initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in public health programs
