Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will contribute to environmental projects, apply your knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and develop strategies to minimize environmental impact. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in sustainable solutions and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental impact assessments and consultation meetings.
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures for environmental management.
  • Evaluate and improve processes to mitigate environmental risks.
  • Support capital project development with environmental assessments.
  • Engage in cross-disciplinary environmental projects.
  • Conduct training and workshops on environmental best practices.
  • Support sustainability initiatives within the organization.
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring activities.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
  • Research emerging environmental trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental assessments
