As a Petroleum Pump System Operator, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing oil extraction processes. Your responsibilities will include the operation and maintenance of oil wells, ensuring optimal productivity and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of oil pumps and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with environmental teams to ensure compliance.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems to enhance productivity.
• Collect oil samples and conduct routine quality checks.
• Manage inventory of materials and equipment for the site.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Report on production data and trends to senior management.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for all equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant tertiary qualification in oil and gas operations
• Additional certifications in oil and gas-related fields are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in the oil industry
