Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hotel in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a memorable guest experience, managing staff, and maintaining operational standards. You will play a key role in hotel management and strategic planning while leading a passionate team committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily activities of hotel staff to maintain service excellence.
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel's services.
  • Manage guest relations and ensure positive experiences.
  • Prepare reports on hotel performance and suggest improvements.
  • Facilitate training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Coordinate special events and guest activities.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work with management to develop and execute short and long-term goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Management
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the hospitality industry with a focus on hotel management
