As a Registered Nurse in our Johannesburg facility, you will focus on providing exceptional patient care in various settings. Your duties will include patient assessments, developing nursing care plans, administering treatments, and educating patients on health strategies. Strong communication skills and teamwork are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient health status effectively.
• Administer oral and intravenous medications as instructed.
• Coordinate care with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Implement treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Provide thorough health education for patients and families.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
• Participate in health improvement initiatives within the hospital.
• Assist in training and supervision of junior nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital procedures and guidelines.
• Build supportive relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) License

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Wound Care

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
