Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in local and international tax laws and possess strong analytical skills to provide exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities will include preparing tax returns, advising on tax matters, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns in a timely manner.
• Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions.
• Stay informed on tax legislation changes that may affect clients.
• Compile tax research and present solutions to clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Conduct tax audits and resolve disputes with authorities.
• Support the team in refining internal procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax-related roles

Technical Skills

• Tax Law Knowledge
• Accounting Software

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Advanced Taxation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of transfer pricing laws: Understanding of transfer pricing regulations and documentation.
