Adhesive Bonding Machine Operators and Tenders

Job Description

The Glue Line Formulator is responsible for formulating and testing adhesives and sealants used in manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of chemicals and their interactions, as well as the ability to work in a laboratory environment. A successful candidate will collaborate closely with production teams to ensure the quality and consistency of products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to evaluate adhesive properties.
• Document all findings and update formulation databases.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to adhesive formulations.
• Train junior staff on laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience in adhesive or coatings formulation preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with HPLC and GC/MS
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in epoxy formulation: Expertise in formulating and testing epoxy products.
• Knowledge of ISO and ASTM standards: Familiarity with quality standards for the adhesive industry.
