Health Education Specialist

Job Description

As a Health Education Specialist, you will develop and deliver health education programs to promote healthy behaviours and prevent diseases. You will collaborate with community organisations to identify health education needs while conducting assessments to measure program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate health education programs across various target groups.
• Facilitate health education workshops and sessions in community settings.
• Coordinate health fairs and community events to promote health initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with local leaders to enhance public health resources.
• Conduct research to track community health needs and upcoming health trends.
• Utilize social media to disseminate health information and engage the community.
• Support health workers with ongoing training and resources.
• Foster partnerships with other organisations for health advocacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health education or related field.
