Job Description

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our growing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their financial objectives through accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate financial systems and improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide assistance with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of internal controls.
  • Conduct regular training for staff on financial procedures.
  • Engage with clients to provide tailored financial advice.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
  • Support the preparation of financial forecasts.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of financial documentation.
  • Monitor account balances and prepare reconciliations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the accounting sector
