Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will leverage their engineering expertise to streamline processes and enhance production efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Design workflow processes to reduce production time and costs.
• Investigate production issues and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Compile reports on production performance and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with R&D to innovate new processes and technologies.
• Conduct risk assessments on engineering processes and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Data Analysis Tools

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Automation Technologies: Understanding emerging technologies in automation and robotics.
• Experience in Implementing ERP Systems: Practical experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing context.
