Precision Instrument and Equipment Repairer

Job Description

We are in search of a Precision Instrument and Equipment Repairer, also known as a Music Box Mechanic, to diagnose, repair, and maintain music boxes and related musical instruments. The ideal candidate should possess a deep passion for music and excellent technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain various types of mechanical musical instruments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and carry out necessary diagnostics.
• Install, set up, and test new music equipment.
• Work with team members to ensure seamless execution of music events.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs and service activities.
• Conduct quality checks on repaired instruments prior to client delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or diploma in music technology or electronics is preferred

Experience

• Experience with various types of music boxes including cylinder and disc boxes.

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting Skills
• Familiarity with Music History

Languages

• English: Fluent
