Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Record and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Develop discharge plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Assist with medical procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Act as a patient advocate and ensure quality care.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of nursing experience

Technical Skills

• Wound Care
• Patient Assessment

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR): Familiarity with EHR systems for maintaining patient records.
• Wound Care Certification: Professional certification in wound care management is preferable.
