Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Consultant to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will assess environmental impact and provide strategic solutions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of sustainability practices and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and strategy development.
• Develop comprehensive sustainability reports for clients.
• Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
• Advise on waste management and resource conservation practices.
• Help clients implement certified environmental management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits of current practices.
• Support communities in developing green initiatives.
• Prepare public presentations on findings and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or related role

Technical Skills

• Sustainability Assessment
• EIA Preparation

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
