Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient conditions.
• Develop and implement individualised nursing care plans.
• Document and communicate changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients about post-treatment care and follow-up procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain accurate patient care records and charts.
• Collaborate with case managers for discharge planning.
• Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Registered Nurse license in South Africa

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
