Job Description

This role involves cutting and preparing corn for sale and distribution. As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender, you will ensure all products meet quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate cutting machines as per production requirements.
• Conduct quality checks on processed corn to ensure standards are met.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain accurate records of production outputs and issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors to implement improvements in the production process.
• Maintain a high standard of food safety and hygiene.
• Participate in team-building exercises and training.
• Support the implementation of sustainability practices.
• Work in harmony with team members to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in food technology or machinery operation is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years in a similar role, preferably in the food production sector.
