Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project specifications and reports based on engineering standards.
• Perform calculations for structural design and analysis.
• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers for foundational assessments.
• Draft proposals and assist in securing project funding.
• Provide technical expertise in site planning and development.
• Evaluate construction methodologies and suggest improvements.
• Document project milestones and report issues to management.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience preferred

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Chartered Engineer (CEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
