Public Health Analyst

Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst, you will be instrumental in collecting data on health trends, analyzing public health issues, and developing actionable strategies to improve community health outcomes. You will work alongside healthcare professionals, policy makers, and community organizations to ensure that our health initiatives are effective and aligned with current health policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statistical analyses to support health programs and policies.
• Facilitate focus groups and community meetings to gather input.
• Work with government agencies to align public health policies.
• Design tools and methodologies for data collection.
• Assist in grant writing and funding proposals for health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology
• Master's degree will be an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role focusing on health data management

Technical Skills

• Epidemiology Methods
• GIS Mapping

• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)

Languages

• English: Fluent
