Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing health programmes and initiatives aimed at improving community health. You will conduct assessments, develop strategies, and collaborate with local stakeholders to enhance public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate health education programs in schools and community centers.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists and researchers on health studies.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Advocate for health equity and access to services.
• Prepare informative materials for community distribution.
• Coordinate volunteer efforts and community engagement activities.
• Develop evaluation metrics for health programmes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or Public Policy
• Master's degree in Public Health is advantageous

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in health programme management

Certifications

• Certified Public Health (CPH)
