We're on the lookout for a skilled Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg! The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds. Your role will include bathing, cutting, and styling pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Handle pets gently and with care during all grooming tasks.
• Educate pet owners on grooming and maintenance for their pets.
• Help manage scheduling and appointments for grooming sessions.
• Assist with pet handling and preparation before grooming.
• Contribute to a positive and friendly atmosphere in the salon.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in pet grooming is highly preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in pet grooming or related field

Technical Skills

• Canine and Feline Grooming
• Grooming Equipment Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pet health and wellness: Familiarity with nutritional and health care needs of pets.
• Proficient in record-keeping and scheduling: Experience in managing appointments and grooming records.
