Job Description

As a Burning Plant Operator, you will oversee and operate equipment used for burning waste materials. This role requires you to work in a team environment, ensuring that all safety and environmental standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the burning facility, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Regulate burner operations and handle adjustments during the burning process.
  • Utilize various tools to maintain the equipment and respond to alarms promptly.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices regarding waste management.
  • Participate in continuous training sessions to improve operational skills.
  • Advise on environmental compliance strategies.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous waste materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certificates preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience operating industrial burning equipment.
