Job Description

We are seeking a talented Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker to develop and design unique prints and patterns for various textiles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of creativity and will work closely with the design team to ensure designs align with brand identity and seasonal themes.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative textile patterns that reflect current market trends.
• Utilize software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for digital design.
• Work with cross-functional teams including marketing and product development to ensure cohesive designs.
• Maintain a detailed record of design processes and iterations.
• Attend trade shows to gather inspiration and network with industry professionals.
• Provide feedback and contribute to team brainstorming sessions.
• Assist with the production analysis of designs to improve efficiency.
• Ensure timely delivery of designs for production schedules.
• Manage project timelines and adhere to deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and mills regarding fabric quality and design needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in print design

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling Software

Languages

• English: Fluent
