Accountant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Accountant to oversee our financial operations in Durban. This role involves conducting audits, implementing financial controls, and providing insights into financial performance to assist in strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing and reporting.
• Track income and expenditures, and ensure adherence to the budget.
• Provide training and support to junior finance staff.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for improved financial management.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Support cash flow management and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Masters in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a financial or accounting role preferred

• SAIPA Certification

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
