Join our Johannesburg team as an Internal Auditor where you will oversee and review financial records to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. This role involves evaluating risk management practices, conducting audits, and providing recommendations to safeguard assets within the firm. Responsibilities

• Review financial documents to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Identify potential financial discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to assess existing controls and propose enhancements.
• Draft comprehensive reports that outline audit findings and suggest improvements.
• Lead internal audits and provide training to junior auditors.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in audit or finance roles

Technical Skills

• Excel Proficiency
• Knowledge of IFRS

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• CISA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ISO and Compliance training: Experience in ISO standards and compliance training is a plus.
• Participation in audits involving IT general controls: Experience in IT auditing processes is beneficial.
