Stellar Academy is looking for a committed Teacher who will inspire and support students in their learning journey. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective instructional strategies that cater to the unique needs of learners.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive lessons to encourage critical thinking.
• Evaluate student work and projects, providing regular feedback on improvements.
• Encourage and facilitate student engagement in multiple learning activities.
• Share best practices and collaborate with teaching staff to enhance the overall learning environment.
• Document student progress and report on academic achievements.
• Promote a culture of respect, professionalism, and academic integrity.
• Contribute to school committees aimed at enhancing the learning experience.
• Remain current with advancements in educational technology and teaching methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related discipline
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant teaching experience

Certifications

• Certified Professional Educator
• Advanced Learning and Teaching Certificate (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
