Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in nursing practices, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and health screenings.
  • Create and maintain patient-centered care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and chronic disease management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
  • Lead community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in patient care.
  • Engage in mentoring and training of junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in research activities to improve nursing practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Advanced clinical training preferred
