Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The role involves designing and analyzing structural components, ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations, and collaborating with architects and construction teams. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of building codes and engineering principles, along with experience in structural design software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design projects from concept to completion.
  • Assess structural issues and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Utilize 3D modeling software to visualize projects.
  • Perform risk assessments for engineering projects.
  • Coordinate with construction teams during project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license is preferred

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in structural design
