We are looking for a passionate Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to create innovative structures that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare reports.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to draft plans.
• Lead project teams in delivering construction projects on time.
• Perform risk assessments to minimize potential structural failures.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Present project updates to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Finite Element Analysis

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
