Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing excellent IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You should have a knack for solving problems and a desire to help others with technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Manage user accounts and permissions within various applications.
• Ensure data security and backup processes are followed correctly.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and solutions.
• Provide support for mobile devices and remote access.
• Create documentation for IT processes and procedures.
• Assist in the deployment of new IT systems and upgrades.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Bachelor's degree in IT is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role.

Technical Skills

• PC and server maintenance
• Remote Support Tools

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
