Job Description

This role involves providing support and counseling to individuals and families in need, advocating for their rights, and facilitating access to essential services. Responsibilities

• Assist clients in crisis situations and provide immediate support.
• Develop and implement community outreach programs.
• Provide training and guidance to interns and volunteers.
• Build and maintain relationships with local service providers.
• Conduct home visits when necessary to assess client needs.
• Advocate for systemic changes to improve community resources.
• Provide feedback and reports to management on client cases.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community-focused social work

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker in South Africa
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification
