Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the mental health of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments to diagnose mental disorders.
• Create treatment plans and adjust them based on clients' evolving needs.
• Lead therapy sessions focusing on cognitive-behavioural techniques.
• Engage in case consultations with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Document all client interactions and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
• PhD in Psychology is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Crisis Intervention

Soft Skills

• Active Listening
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Specialized Training in Mindfulness Therapies

Languages

• Afrikaans: Fluent
• English: Fluent
