Health Technologist and Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Health Technologist and Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing EEG tests, supporting medical professionals, and ensuring patient comfort. Your expertise will enhance our diagnostic capabilities and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EEG tests and document patient data effectively.
• Assist neurologists in diagnosing and treating patients based on test results.
• Perform calibration checks on EEG systems to ensure accuracy.
• Educate patients on EEG procedures to ensure comfort and compliance.
• Lead training sessions for new technicians on EEG testing protocols.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations during procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Science or a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification in Neurodiagnostics is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting performing EEG tests

Certifications

• Advanced EEG Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS): Experience with TMS procedures is a plus.
• Proficiency in Polysomnography (PSG): Experience in PSG testing will be advantageous.
