Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures. You will utilize your expertise to ensure compliance with safety regulations while meeting project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review structural design reports and proposals.
• Supervise junior engineers and provide mentorship.
• Coordinate with local authorities regarding permits and zoning.
• Research and integrate new technologies and materials into designs.
• Prepare cost estimates for projects and analyze value engineering options.
• Ensure quality control through regular inspections.
• Document project modifications and updates appropriately.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Professional certifications in structural engineering are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural project design

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic
