Job Description

As a Receptionist and Information Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, responsible for managing front desk operations and providing excellent customer service. You will handle inquiries, direct calls, and manage appointments, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk activities and operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all visitors.
  • Keep track of office supplies and make orders as necessary.
  • Support staff with administrative functions.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Assist with data entry and document management.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Further qualifications in administration are an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
Technical Skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Familiarity with office equipment
Soft Skills
  • Strong verbal communication
  • Teamwork
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Previous experience in hospitality: Experience in a role that required high standards of client service.
